Joola Tables are chosen again for the European Table Tennis Championships

JOOLA managing director Michael Bachtler and executive director Andreas Hain visited the Ergo Arena in Gdansk to talk about last details with representatives of the ETTU and the Polish Table Tennis Association regarding the European Championships that will take place at the beginning of October. The new Ergo Arena, located between the cities Spoto and Danzig, can hold up to 11000 spectators.

Ma Lin changes rubber to Yasaka Rakza 7

Yasaka RAKZA 7 was introduced in 2011 and has become a major sales success worldwide. An ever increasing number of players are changing their rubbers to Rakza 7 and Rakza 7 Soft.
RAKZA 7 is the newly developed rubber by YASAKA, using mainly natural gum for the top sheet. This improves the level of grip and the power of spin drastically. The shape/geometry of the pimples are designed to give a good balance between speed and spin.
The topsheet is combined with with the newly developed sponge - ”Power Sponge” enabling huge elasticity. Together they work in perfect synergy, producing the ”Hybrid Energy” rubber RAKZA 7.
When the player hits the ball hard , the rubber ”grips” the ball and the stroke can be used to place the ball accurately, both in direction and length. The serve and short returns are very sharp and easy to handle.
Thanks to the higher proportion of natural gum the life expectancy of the rubber has increased.
